Beast of Revelation (246 pp, pb) - Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr. $19.95
This along with Gentry's bigger book, Before Jerusalem Fell (avail. here), is one of the best defenses for the early date of Revelation in print. The Book of Enoch (154 pp, pb) - R. H. Charles, translator $19.95
Fine example of the "apocalyptic" style of writings commonly read in the synagogues and churches of the first two centuries BC and AD. Jude quotes from it as if it was both well-known and useful. The highly symbolic language used in Enoch is almost identical to that found in such Biblical books as Daniel and Revelation. Helps one understand this style of writing and interpret it.

Discusses the return of Christ and associated Final Judgment dealt with in Matt. 16:27,28 - "For the Son of Man is about to come ... with His angels; and will then recompense every man ... some of those who are standing here who shall not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming ..." If the judgment and Christ's return did not occur, there is a serious integrity problem with Jesus and the NT writers.

John Lightfoot sat on the Westminster Assembly and was reputed to be the foremost Hebraicist of his day. In this 4-volume set he shows how a knowledge of Jewish history and tradition sheds tremendous light on the NT. Many splendid insights and preterist statements can be found here. Highly recommended.

The Corinthian Catastrophe (62 pp, pb) - G. E. Gardiner $7.95
Shows the charismatic gifts were signs to Israel that she was about to collapse, as well as miraculous provision to help the church through its most vulnerable period. Once the church was fully established and Jerusalem was destroyed at 70 AD, the gifts ceased. Also teaches that all the books of the NT were written by 70 AD. Gardiner, a Baptist minister, was formerly charismatic.

Daniel - Fulfilled Prophecy (202 pp, pb) - Jessie E. Mills, Jr. $12.95

Glorious Return of Jesus Christ (90 pp, pb) - Jimmy Henry $7.95
Great introduction to the Preterist view from a Baptist pastor. Explains his own struggle with prophecy. Gives interpretative guidelines. Prints out all scriptures so the reader doesn't have to look them up. Excellent material on the problem of timing. Keys to interpreting Revelation. Exhortations to avoid the traps of tradition.

Great Tribulation - Past or Future? (224 pp, pb) - Tommy Ice & Ken Gentry $12.95
A debate between a partial preterist (Ken Gentry) and a Pre-Trib Premillennialist (Tommy Ice). Provides many clear insights into the inconsistencies, strengths and weaknesses of both views, and reveals how really superior the Preterist view is to both of the views being defended here.

Hal Lindsey & Biblical Prophecy (139 pp, pb) - Cornelius Vanderwaal $9.95
Excellent presentation of basic preterist approach from a reformed covenant perspective. Much material here to combat premillennial futurist ideas and showing the validity of interpreting much of Revelation figuratively. Also teaches that the Beast and the Harlot of the book of Revelation were both Jewish. Much food for thought here by a well-qualified Dutch Reformed scholar and covenant theologian.

Have Heaven & Earth Passed Away? (35 pp, pb) - Don Preston $4.95
Subtitled: A Study of Matt. 5:17,18. Shows why it's inconsistent to believe OT Law is no longer fully binding if the old "Heaven and Earth" have not passed away. Shows the Old Heaven and Earth was the OT temple system, and that the New Heaven and Earth is the Kingdom of Christ (the Church) which is already here. The Law was fulfilled completely by the time Jerusalem fell in 70 AD.

Hebrews: Covenants in Contrast (90 pp, pb) - Eugene Fadeley $8.95
Survey of the book of Hebrews from a preterist perspective. Perfect quarterly Bible Class study book. Thirteen Lessons. Study questions at the end of each chapter. Examines some of the typological significance of Christ’s work on the cross and His work in the Heavenly Temple to complete atonement.

Hell On Trial (258 pp, pb) - Robert A. Peterson $14.95
One of the best three books I have found on the subject of Eternal Conscious Punishment (Hell). Thorough examination of the subject through the Old and New Testaments, as well as Church History. Clearly refutes the error of Universalism and Annihilationism. Great companion book to Gerstner's more topical study.

House Divided (411 pp, hb) - Greg Bahnsen & Kenneth Gentry $14.95
Shows the tremendous confusion existing within futurist views of prophecy, and the superior consistency of the preterist approach. Excellent for pastors and theological students caught up in Pre-Trib Rapture theology or similar Premil Dispensational theories. Excellent material on the optimistic preterist worldview. Includes a response to Hal Lindsey's book, The Road To Holocaust.

How To Understand the Bible (149 pp, pb) - Robert Palmer $13.95
Many of us have never been taught how to study the Bible, nor what tools are available to make that study easy and meaningful. This book does just that. Shows how every book of the Bible relates to God’s plan of redemption. Shows what concordances and other Bible study tools are available and how to use them. Subtitled, "Understanding The Covenant." Traces the covenant theme throughout the Scripture. Builds a covenantal framework for understanding the Plan of Redemption and eschatology. Gives a more thorough grasp of the continuity between Old and New Covenants, and a deeper appreciation of the work of Christ for His chosen covenant people.

In Flaming Fire (30 pp, pb) - Don Preston $5.95
Little known time text -- 2 Thess. 1:7-8! Paul promised that Christ would come "in flaming fire" to crush their persecutors and relieve those saints in Thessalonica who were being persecuted. Did that relief ever come in their lifetime (as Paul promised)? If it did, then Christ's return has occurred!

Incredible Scofield (394 pp, pb) - Joe Canfield $23.95
New paperback edition. Most Bible students have heard of the Scofield Ref. Bible, and may even own one. But few have read anything about Scofield. This well-researched and documented book reveals his questionable character. Loraine Boettner says this exposé is so powerful that “if dispensationalists would read it carefully, perhaps half of them would turn from that system.”

Into All The World, Then Comes The End (139 pp, pb) - Don Preston $12.95
One of the key signs of the nearness of Christ's return mentioned in Matthew 24 is the preaching of the gospel "into all the world." This book presents the NT evidence to show that the Great Commission was accomplished before Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70.

Israel 1948 Countdown to Nowhere (47 pp, pb) - Don Preston $5.95
Preston applies his keen logic to show that the return of the Jews to the land of Israel in 1948 was not the fulfillment of end-time prophecy. Those prophecies were fulfilled in the establishment of the "better things" in Christ and the Church, and in the destruction of the old physical temple system at AD 70.

Israel and the Nations (258 pp, pb) - F. F. Bruce $23.95
Superb study of Biblical history, especially from the Babylonian captivity down to the second destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. Numerous lists of kings and rulers, charts, maps, photos, and illustrations. You will constantly refer back to it as you study Jewish and Christian history. Indispensible for getting a grasp of the intertestamental period. The charts alone in the back of the book are worth the price!

Josephus: The Complete Works (1144 pp) - William Whiston, trans. $21.95-pb, $26.95-hb
New enhanced edition. Get a grip on the historical context of the first century out of which the NT came. Includes both the Antiquities of the Jews and The Wars. Invaluable in tracing the course of the Jewish revolt and Jerusalem's final destruction in AD 70. Tells the story in literal language which the book of Revelation presents in symbolic and apocalyptic imagery. Must reading for serious Bible students. New edition. Easier to read with commentary & illustrations by Paul Maier.

Josephus - The Essential Works (416 pp, hb) - Paul L. Maier $27.95
Reader's digest version of Josephus' Antiquities and The Jewish War. Maps, pictures, charts, and diagrams, along with a modern translation. Essential for a clear grasp of first century history, especially regarding AD 70. Makes historical context of the NT come alive. Same as The Essential Writings, except all illustrations have been enhanced and colorized.

The Last Days According to Jesus (253 pp, pb) - R. C. Sproul, Sr. $16.95
R. C. Sproul's much-anticipated defense of the partial preterist view. He has long recommended J. S. Russell's book on the Parousia. This volume identifies the differences between partial and full preterists. Sproul's major objection against full preterism is the resurrection. One of the most significant preterist books yet. Sure to fuel an even more extensive debate.

Last Days Identified (138pp, pb) - Don Preston $11.95

Preston proves Lahaye's Pre-Trib "Left Behind" view is totally wrong on its timing of the "rapture." Even preterist "literal rapture" advocates will find much here to agree with, as well as some things to differ on. But the debate is healthy for the cause of truth.

The Messiah's Return (71 pp, pb) - Timothy James $6.95
Shows how futurist views of eschatology are inconsistent and undermine the integrity of Scripture. Presents the clear teaching of the NT that Christ's return was imminent in the first century. Careful look at the eschatology of Luke to repudiate the various liberal attempts to side-step the TIME statements. Foreword by R. C. Sproul, Sr. Subtitled "A Study In Eschatological Evil." A study of Daniel's Abomination of Desolation, Wars & Tribulation in Matthew 24, Man of Lawlessness in 2 Thess. 2, the Beast and Great City Babylon of Revelation from a partial preterist view. Much useful information.

Promise of His Coming (223 pp, pb) - Richard & Janice Leonard $13.95
Subtitled, "Interpreting New Testament Statements Concerning the Time of Christ's Appearance." Discusses the merits and implications of three different possible approaches to the Time statements: 1) They were wrong, 2) They really didn't mean what they seem, or 3) The Parousia really occurred in AD 70 just like the NT time statements indicated. Discusses the creedal issue.

Prophecy: The Year 2000 and Beyond? (92 pp, pb) - Eugene Fadeley $8.95
An excellent introduction to the Preterist view and its major implications. Written in very easy-to-read language. Makes study of Bible prophecy easier. Also deals somewhat with the timing issues and the date-setters, and discusses the current interest in the year 2000 from a Preterist perspective. Great choice for those just beginning to look at the preterist viewpoint.

Questions About The Afterlife (52 pp, pb) - Ed Stevens $6.95
We asked Gary DeMar what it is about the Preterist view that he has the most difficulty with. He submitted five excellent questions about the resurrection, the afterlife, and the nature of our resurrection bodies, which we feel are very relevant. Presents the same "Immortal Body at Death" view of the resurrection that Curtis, Davies, Harden, Hibbard, and Noe are teaching. The BEST preterist book on the resurrection.

Redating The New Testament (369 pp, pb) - John A. T. Robinson $36.95
An unusually conservative attempt to prove that every one of the books in our New Testament were written before AD 70, from a somewhat liberal theologian who is nevertheless a first-rate scholar. He dates all the NT books as pre-70 because, "...the single most datable and climactic event of the period (the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70) is never once mentioned [in the NT] as a past fact."

Results of Fulfilled Prophecy (198 pp, pb) - Jessie E. Mills, Jr. $12.95
Presents a lot of preterist material from a topical approach. From a Church of Christ author who has been promoting the past fulfillment of prophecy since the 1950's. Wrote feature articles for our newsletter back in the 1980's. Takes a very similar view of the resurrection as Stevens, Noe, Hibbard, Curtis and Harden. Many excellent ideas not found anywhere else. Published by IPA.

Revelation Survey and Research (295 pp, pb) - Jessie E. Mills, Jr. $15.95
First full commentary on the whole book of Revelation from a fully consistent preterist. Lots of historical and exegetical insights, including evidence from the Syriac and the Targums. Every serious student of prophecy needs to have this. This is the second volume in a two-part series on Daniel-Revelation. Be sure to get both volumes, available here.
