Frequently Asked Questions About Downloading MP3 Files:
Why we do not provide MP3 downloading at this time:
- Most people do not have a high-speed connection, so downloading these large files is time-consuming and unreliable.
- A 45-minute lesson is ten times the size of a 4-minute song downloaded from iTunes.
- Considering the additional web-host storage and bandwidth costs, it is simply not cost-effective for us to provide a downloading service at this time.
Why couldn't we attach the MP3 files to an email message and send to those who have a high speed modem?
- Even with a high-speed modem it is still time-intensive and unreliable.
- However, we are willing to do it in exceptional cases (for an extra charge) when there is not enough time to send them by mail. If you want it faster, there is a way to do it, but it will cost more.
- Each track we send to you via attached email will cost $1.98 each, instead of the usual 99¢ (plus a $5 attachment email generation fee), but you will not be charged fees for postage and storage on CD/DVD (unless you order the CD/DVD to be sent by mail also).
- If you wish to have MP3 files sent to you via attached email, it must be arranged by calling our Toll-Free Order Line (1-888-257-7023). Any other method of contacting us about it may not reach us in time! Please note our calling hours (M-F 9am-5pm Eastern USA time, closed Sat./Sun./holidays). You may leave a message if calling outside those hours.
